Private Tutoring

We offer private weekly tutoring session for adults who wish to improve the skills necessary to achieve personal, educational or employment goals. These essential skills include reading, writing and/or numeracy.

Basic Computer and Tablet Help

Learners work on-on-one with a tutor to develop basic computer and tablet skills. Learners are encouraged to bring their questions or issues for this private session. This service can be provided weekly or as required.

Scribe Service

The scribe service helps individuals who struggle with document management. Assistance, by appointment only, is provided with reading, understanding and filling out forms or paperwork.

Learning through Art: Playing with Colour


It is a fun relaxing interactive drawing workshop held once a month with artist Louise Audet Bonnet.

Document and Technology Assistance

On Thursday mornings at Rouge Valley Days, the Literacy Centre is providing individual help with tablet or computer use and, document assistance .


Individuals are required to bring their devices or documents and are
encouraged to write down questions for the one hour session. The sessions are free and confidential.

After-School Tutoring

  

After school tutoring is offered to Primary and High school students who experience difficulties with reading, writing and math. The tutoring sessions are held once or twice a week during the school calendar year.

Summer Tutoring

An individualized seven-week summer tutoring program to prepare students for the upcoming academic year.
